Yi told his mother the news, so Kang Shi was angry. At
last, Kang Shi ordered Zhang Yi to query his brother for
the matter.

ARMOURED CHARIOTS |
Commander Yue Fei of the Southern
Song Dynasty(1127-1279)met commander Wu Zhu of the Jin
Dynasty for a decisive battle in the Niutou Mountain.
Yue Fei ordered general Gao Chong to protect the army
flag. Gao Chong disobeyed the order and went down the
mountain to assist fighting without permission. He speared
several enemy generals and made the enemy to retreat in
defeat. Then Gao Chong pursued and attacked the enemy
for exploiting the victory. Wu Zhu's army slid the armoured
vehicles from the mountain top to block him .Cao Chong
did all he could to overturn many vehicles, and he fought
till his last breath

the Huaguo Mountain. He went to the Dragon Palace under
the sea asking for a weapon from the Dragon King, who
was in charge of the sea. He got a very powerful stick,
which can keep sea in calm. Later, he had a fight with
the Dragon king.

| Jin State invaded Song state again,
then Commander Yue Fei of Song state ordered general Yang
Zai xing to repel the enemy. Yang Zai xing fought with
the enemy at Xiao Shang River, and cut four enemy generals.
Wu Zhu, the commander of Jin state was defeated, then
he hid soldiers at the bridge of Xiao Shang River, Yang
Zaixing ran after the enemy into Xiao Shang River .Because
the water hadn't frozen and the river was covered by snow,
Yang's horse sank in the icy water ,then Yang was shot
to death by arrows.

and he sat on thegate tower to play a string instrument
and drink. When Sima Yi led his army to the front of the
gate, he felt puzzled because he knew that Zhuge Liang
was always cautions. Sima Yi dared not to invade the city
because he didn't want to be fooled again. So Sima Yi
ordered his army to retreat. Later when Sima Yi knew the
truth and led his army to invade the city, Zhuge Liang
had moved the brave general Zhao Yun and his troops to
Xicheng City. Sima Yi was scared and retreated once more.

in the same inn .The inn-keeper, Boss Liu Lihua misunderstands
that Ren Tanghui will murder general Jiao .Then, Boss
Liu steals into general Ren's room with a sword. The two
man have a fierce fight in the dark. Only when Boss Liu's
wife comes in with a candle do the three generals recognize
each other.

committed adultery with Xi Menqing, a local tyrant. The

his food. When Wu Song accused the adulterers, the local
official scolded Wu Song because he had accepted bribe
from Xi Menqing. So Wu Song raged and went to the Line
Wineshop, a restaurant where Xi Menqing was drinking and
killed the adulterer.

This play is taken from the classic
novel (Jurney to the West). The Monkey king made a great
disturbance in the Heaven Palace and was thrown into the
Bagua furnace. However, he got a pair of golden eye-balls
through the high temperature. He broke the furnace and
ran away. The God invited the Tathagata Buddha to catch
the monkey. Then the fairy monkey fought with the Buddha
and his assistant, eighteen Arhats. At last, Monkey King
Won and went back to his mountain.

WITH MA CHAO |
In order to pin down Liu Bei and
save Liu Zhang, Zhang Lu, the governor of Hanzhong xommanded
general Ma Chao ,whohad sought refuge in Hanzhong because
of military losing, to attack the Jiameng Pass which was
occupied by Liu Bei. Zhuge Liang,the military counsellor
of Liu Bei intentionally prodded Zhang Fei to fight with
Ma Caho. Ma and Zhang fought till midnight. Neither side
had the better of the other. Liu Bei who had watched the
fighting on the gate tower liked Ma's bravery and power,
so he went out to persuade Ma to follow him .Ma Chao was
moving and surrendered to Liu finally.

King Liu Bang and King Xiang Yu have
agreed to a truce and drew a demarcation line at Honggou.
General Han Xin, Liu Bang's able military officer, orders
Counsellor Li Zuoche to make a feigned surrender to Xiang
Yu,so as to lure Xiang's troop to march towards frontier.
Han Xin lays an ambush arond the Shili Mountain, and the
Xiang's troop are all surrounded at Gaixia .Xiang Yu cannot
break through the siege, and his soldiers were besieged
on all sides. They assume that other Chusoldiers all have
laid down their arms , with the result that their morale
goes down. Xiang Yu realizes that the game is lost and
he indulges in drinking and despair. He bids farewell
to his wife, Yu Ji, who dances her last before she kills
herself. Later , Xiang Yu tries to break through, but
fails. He suicides beside the Wu River.

of the White Snake, a well-known fairy tale. Bai Suzhen,
spirit of the White Snake, who was defeated in the Jinshan
Temple, came to the Broken Bridge, where she and Xu Xian
first met before. She was exhausted and had a abdominal
pain, for she had been pregnant for months. Xu Xian, Bai
Suzhen's husband also came to the bridge.
Xiao Qing (the spirit of the Blue Snake), Bai Suzhen's
maid-servant, wanted to kill Xu Xian for his unfaithfulness.With
deep love, Bai Suzhen mediated. While stopping Xiao
Qing so doing, Bai Suzhen reproached Xu Xian for his
inconstant in love. Xu Xian felt a prick in his conscience
and begged Bai Suzhen to forgive him. Bai did, and in
the end the three people became reconciled and went
to Hang Zhou City together.
